Grants and Financial Information

Pupil Premium:

The Pupil Premium is additional funding from the Government given to publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers. It is for all children from Reception to Year 6.

You can find out how we are spending this year's pupil premium money here:

PE Sports Grant:

The sports grant is given to schools to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of PE and sport they offer.

This means we should use the premium to:

  • develop or add to the PE and sport activities that our school already offers.
  • make improvements now that will benefit pupils joining the school in future years.

In the below documents, you can see the plan for the money in this academic year as well as the impact of the previous year's grant:

Financial Benchmarking:

Schools are required to publish a link to their page on the Government Financial Benchmarking service.
